“Back in days, us and friends always went drinking in suburbs at night, at ‘Da Mo’ and ‘Ye Ren’ skewer booths, at the house we rent in Wang Yue apartment, on the rooftop, on the lawn, by the lake, and the empty streets.
Now when I recall that period is like watching an inexplicable movie. Some unexpected questions and beauty just coming up to you, made you excited. But when you awake from hangover the next day, you just thought everything suck, like a failed ceremony.
Actually, this album is quite far away from us on time. We recorded it in the summer of 2016 and then graduated together. Two years past, this album is like a flash back in our on-going lives. Even me, haven’t listened to the Wisdom Teeth’s music for quite a long time. Now, let’s listen them again.”
by vocal Li Wangnian
The Wisdom Teeth never see themselves as a mature and stable band, either in genre or live performance. The 9 tracks were written in two and half years. You can tell the difference in genre from track to track. But vocal also emphasized that the Wisdom Teeth had no change from the beginning to the end. All in all, it is about Chinese and rock n roll. So this album is quite complete.
