Deadly Cradle Death is an experimental duo that consists of He Fan (Carsick Cars’ bass player and guitarist of Birdstriking) and Liu Xinyu (Chui Wan’s guitarist). They chose the name for the band based on the North American TV series “1000 Ways To Die”, according to which the “Deadly Cradle Death” is one out of 1000 ways to die. They describe the atmosphere their music creates as one, in which “theatricality and danger surge up within the electronic sounds until they die a deadly cradle death”.

In 2012, Deadly Cradle Death participated at the South by South West music festival.
